CHOREOGRAPHY/ EXHIBITION

• He founded his Collective, Sheep Meadow Dance Theatre in 2016. He has presented

works ranging from ballet to dance theatre, with over 100 performances at notable

venues. SMDT presented its first full evening on June 22, 2019, with grant support from

the Queen's Theatre in the Park. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, he created a "Living

Dance Film" model with his partners, Lauren Woods and 10Kproductuions, to stream live

dance performances with multi-camera editing and both practical and digital effects.

Season II - The Nutcracker debuted on December 22, 2020, and Season III- Sleeping

Beauty on June 22, 2021. He returned to in-person performances utilizing project

mapping and animated artwork for Season IV - An Evening of New Classics on October 5,

2023. This evening was supported by the Queens Art Fund New Works Grant and

administered by the New York Foundation for the Arts. 75 Percent of his performances

are free to the public in found spaces to provide arts access to all New Yorkers, with

particular attention to programming directly benefiting his home borough of Queens.

• With Sheep Meadow Dance Theatre, he was hired by Candlelight Concerts to

choreograph with The Highline String Quartet to create “Tchaikovsky and More” at the

Irondale Center. This concert series, presented by Fever UP, was the first of its kind in the

United States. It had ten sold-out performances between January and October 2022,

with an estimated total audience size of 3000.

• Co-creator of the Intimacies Project. 2006-2009 Received a 10-day space grant in Port

Authority Bus Terminal through Chashama. The residency created an interactive public

art installation with live music, dance performances, and photography inspired by the

audience's reactions.

• Created works for Ajkun Ballet Theatre (2018), Neville Dance Theatre (2016) and Project

in Motion (2006, 2012).• Curated the Queens Informal Studio Showcase November, 2022 at Salvatore LaRussa

Dance Theatre Supported by the Queens Council on the Arts.

• Created works for Students of the Ajkun Ballet Theatre Winter Festival, the Peridance

Core Program, Flash Pointe Dance and Logrea Dance Academy.

• His film with artist Lauren Woods, BODY TIDES, has been shown at Circle, CICA Museum

(Czong Institute for Contemporary Art), and juror Leejin Kim, Ph.D., Director CICA

Museum, Gimpo, South Korea September 1-19, 2021, and Our DNA, Kehler Liddell

Gallery, New Haven, CT June 25 - July 25, 2021. It has also been shown at Film Festivals

in NYC for 6 Degrees of Dance and ESTIA Day Festival (May 2022).

• He created the Joffrey Ballet School's first Student Concert while in attendance on full

Scholarship, where he debuted his first choreographic work, "Enduring Light."

• HIs Honor’s College Thesis was a multi-disciplinary concert Collages incorporated live

music, text, multiple dance modalities as well as vocal performance and live painting.
